In 2015, I found myself at a pivotal crossroads. My professional therapy practice was thriving, yet the growing waitlist and limited reach as an individual provider made me question how I could create greater impact. While I valued the one-on-one connections with clients, I felt increasingly constrained by the traditional service model and knew there had to be a better way to help more people.
Design became my breakthrough moment. I discovered that by combining my deep understanding of human needs with innovative digital solutions, I could develop platforms that serve communities at scale. As a product designer, I now create solutions that amplify impact and break through traditional barriers, reaching more people than I ever could have imagined in my previous role. My transition from direct service to product design wasn't just a career change – it was a way to multiply my ability to make a meaningful difference.
